What will you find at Celebrate Recovery?

Teaching & TestimonyAfter a time of worship, you will hear a testimony from one who has begun to find freedom in CR, or a lesson on one of the CR steps and principles

Open Share Recovery GroupsAfter the teaching time, we break into our open share groups. These groups will always be gender specific (men’s group/women’s group), and when possible, issue specific. The goal is to share what is on your heart, but no one will ever be forced to share.

Small Group PrinciplesIn order to achieve the goals that open share groups are designed to, there are guidelines that we must all commit to following. These five include: allowing all to talk, prohibiting interruptions, no judgmental comments or coarse/offensive language, and most importantly, confidentiality/anonymity.

Step StudiesStep studies are reserved for those groups that decide they want to take their recovery to the next level. These are held on a different night from the weekly CR meetings. They include participant’s guides and focus on moving through the CR principles together.

What is Celebrate Recovery?

Real People

People from all walks of life, with all types of backgrounds. Anyone and everyone has struggled or is currently struggling with, a hurt, habit, or hang-up. Your identity and worth is not determined by your struggles, but by the One who created you…

Real Hurts, Habits, and Hang-ups

You’ll hear this phrase a lot in Celebrate Recovery. It refers to whatever you may struggle with. It could be, but is not limited to, chemical dependency, affects of abuse, affects of divorce, depression, pornography, eating disorders, codependency, anxiety, anger, and much more.

Real Freedom

Participants of Celebrate Recovery find real freedom from their hurts, habits, and hang-ups by surrendering them, and themselves, to their higher power, Jesus Christ. The key to finding freedom is not just letting go, but filling that void with something (or someone) better. Jesus is that someone…

What are the requirements?

The only real requirement is a genuine desire to change. This is no gimmick, and there is no cost to join. CR was birthed in the hearts of people that have experienced the prison of their hurts, habits, and hang-ups, but that have also experienced the freedom that only Jesus Christ can offer. Our prayer is that you and others will find this same freedom, and chart a new course for your life by the love of God and others just like you.

How do I get started?

We meet every Wednesday night. Just come as you are. There is no sign-up or pre-registration. You can always call for more information, but nothing compares with experiencing it for yourself. CR is a process, and not an overnight fix. We encourage you to give it several weeks before deciding if CR is beneficial for you.

Whats holding you back?

Nothing except the weight that you are trying to carry alone. Let Celebrate Recovery and most importantly, Jesus, help you carry that burden. There is no better time to find freedom than NOW!
